A winning idea in agriculture

The company's leitmotiv has always been to listen to the customer, to be at the service of every request and problem. Listening has led to solutions and results, allowing the Rotunno company to update the agricultural market by replacing the traditional and tiring galvanized pipes with new sprinkler irrigation systems. "Rotunno Costruzioni Meccaniche" has innovated the use of sprinklers, positioned no longer directly on the galvanized pipe but through a polyethylene pipe, a solution that has had the advantage of improving, facilitating and optimizing sectoral movements for the coverage irrigation of the current cultivation.

In support of the need to unwind and rewind thousands of meters of pipes, the Rotunno company worked hard to specialize in a new process aimed at building machines suitable for the piperewinding.

The company began to build the first and unprecedented pipe winders to rewind the polyethylene ø 25mm up to the new dripline irrigation system. The new system could be applied to multiple diameters and here the companies of the sector began to produce polyethylene pipes in a wide range. Consequently, the Rotunno company had to work in the design and construction of increasingly performing and specific machines based on the different classification of the pipes.
